Gonna make some more #beatswatchingxfactor.
For help the heroes its worth it but otherwise it doesn't take enough time to justify the cost. Will have to check on the barnacle knot, not sure I know it!

In other news - hit the poundshop hard, picked up a load if first aid bits, vitamins, box for it all and some rubber gloves. Also played with a civilian filter that *I think* is a good alternative to out of date mod ones. More info and pics in equipment under packs, gasmasks and radios topic :)

Bought some snow/ice grips today. I will *not* be falling over on the slope at the end of my road this year!

I'm very pleased with myself! This last week I've bought a small torch for my handbag (used it twice since getting it so very happy to have it on hand), kitted out my EVAC bag with most of the stuff expect the food part, and also sorted out the car for winter.

Have ordered a Thermos stainless king food flask (on offer at Amazon). I've wanted one for ages to sort out soup for packed lunches now its getting colder. Also I'm moving an elderly relative into a residential home down here and the food isnt great. This way I can take her a flask of hot stew or soup. I've had cheaper brands in the past which don't work very well so I'm looking forward to trying this one out.

Huh! Just checked and the price has gone up by £5 since this morning! There's inflation for you!

Started some apple butter. Will have to finish it tomorrow.

Was going to order 2 hand-held radios but migraine (or meds for it) is making me too groggy to want to do that.

I need to find my walking boots - they have gone AWOL and it is no longer walking sandal time. :(
