Could people who've used Approved Foods maybe post their thoughts here? I keep swithering on whether it's worth it or not, they seem to have a lot of stuff we don't eat...

We have used AP a number of times, here are my thoughts.....

Pros
Great prices
Good delivery times
Continually changing stock
Fragile items very well packaged
Very fast refunds for damaged or missing items, never any quibbles

Cons
I feel PnP is a little steep
Tins have a tenancy to get dented (sometimes really badly)

So overall a good place to shop and if you can put a large order together (not always possible) it outways the PnP and you can get a great deal.

Lil, they've got packets of that soup mix you like, but it's got pasta in. I guess you could always pick it out? It's only £1.00 for 2kg!

Re: delivery cost - I just put a sample order together, which came to around 44kg. Postage would be £7.50. I actually think that's extremely cheap. I was expecting it to be a whole lot more!

My pros and cons are the same as WW.

It's actually quite useful, but because of the postage I feel I can only use it when making a fairly large order. so that means being willing to spend the extra money besides our weekly groceries. I suppose that a heavy order is worth the postage, but when I have put just a few items in my bag, I thought it was a bit high.

I have had items damaged in transit - but they were replaced. It caused a mess though.

I will continue to use them from time to time.
