Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Well it was running underfloor heating for a six bed house, four hot water cylinders, a indoor/outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, basement games room to name just a little, they ran out of flow with their power supply, so between them and the farm next door a new cable is being installed, only £1,000,000 supply and install

Ordered the Bahco saw from Amazon that's on offer, some dehumidifiers for the food store, a couple space pens and some more tinned soups and beans, oh and a couple service packs for my new Tilley lamp + some spare mantles.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Ordered a better quality of slingshot. Proper Barnett Black Widow.
After a bit more practice will be upgrading to a side shooter thingy for flatbands. Want at least one type of slingshot for each kind of rubber so that no matter what I can get my hands on I can still shoot.
Been using up my prepped foods as dental work had taken up all my shopping money.
Now planning what to get in stock before the snow comes properly.
Still got about 6 Kg of dry foods (mainly lentils and beans) but that aint gonna last me much.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
The boots were £20 per pair, the jeans were £22 a pair. Which is fairly low as the cheapest I've seen the boots in a retail setting was £32 and jeans £30Technik wrote:Ho much did you pay for the Magnums and the jeans Metatron? And also makes a boring diet, last thing you want in a survival situation if you can avoid it as meal times can end up being the highlight of the day, and much better if its something you can enjoy, especially if its weather that keeps you stuck in.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Nearly forgot bought this yesterday ( well took a teasmade back and asked if I could have this instead and just pay the difference) http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... TARTER.htm
I know its not a generator, but that is beyond my price range at moment and most likely would not go down well with neighbours, this although not fantastic would mean we have some power.

Nice small and quiteish genny in B&Q under £90, good for a fair few things, fridges and small freezers, ideal for the quick emergency power set-up.
