Hi all, I've been lurking for a bit waiting to get my account activate and am really glad to be here!!

I've been a bit of a prepper in mind, if not in reality for a long time. The recent escalation of societal instability and generally the weather definitely having more of an effect has spurred me into some real prepping!

Always looking for new ideas and hopefully I can add some of my own!

My other half things I'm a little nuts too, but....more and more she is asking questions and listening to the answers!!! I have one brother who understand me (and vice versa) and our other brother thought we were a bit silly. However, we are having a 'meeting of minds' next month to go through a few things. This place is like a virual Noah's Ark.
