Even the tins rotate as they roll down so mix up the contents at the same time :mrgreen:
Now that is just such a simple and brilliant idea.. for normal usage and stock rotation and also for prepping

didnt a resturant serve squirrel as flightless partridge.?

i lost a pack of toilet roll as kids opened pack but gained a box of pg tips t bags one of the ones from icelands that was so many percent free,
so evened it out abit i suppose :lol:

stores will be on hold though with christmas looming.

Just been to Lidl and got some tins of corned beef with a BB of nov 2017 :)
and some pain killers which were a BOGOF offer.

7 japanese male quails and 20 hens arriving tonite :lol:

not quite prepping but they will be good egg providers in limited space.

I think hens are terrific. Just wish I had a husband who would let me keep a pig!

You can keep them in a fairly small space but the no 1 rule is fresh fresh fresh bedding. They are messy little birds and fresh bedding will stop the poo building up on their feet in hard crusts.
Oh and make sure you keep hatching new ones as they dont live that long :)

Saw some glass vacuum food flasks going in B+M. Volume per flask : 1L !!! Price £3:99
I bought 2
Intention: to use them as thermal cookers.
I will get more when I have some spare change.


Also poured 4 bottles of disinfectant down the kitchen sink to kill of any mold spores prior to the festive season. It worth while doing that more often in the winter due to less ventilation.
