How do all, thought I'd register after hearing about it on the Survival Boards.
Although they've got reigonal threads it's nice to have a more local forum.

I like to get out and about and take note of my surroundings, I wouldn't call myself a complete survivalist but like to think I'd be able to cope with all situations that confront me. Though any extra training would be beneficial.
I'm a mechanical engineer by trade and general dogsbody by profession. Currently live not too far away from the Tank Museum though not in the Army.
