A book I enjoyed

Post by The-Great-Nothing »

Hi

I really liked The Wild Life : A Year of Living on Wild Food.

Very interesting book about a guy hunting and foraging for all his food for a year.

Not a 'how to' book. But a very wonderful to read, and inspirational of what can be done to survive.

Cheers

Thanks guys, I seem to recall "Fergus" claiming to live a year on foraged food, except he used several years back stores to accomplish it, so not really an accurate description of what he was aiming to achieve.

I might be tempted to add this one to the library

I think the truth is that it would be extremely difficult to live well for a whole year on foraged food alone.
