Quinoa?
This stuff seems to be getting quite a bit of attention lately, apparently it’s a type of grain that’s not just higher in protein but easier to grow and process on a small scale. Obviously there’s going to be a lot of hype but if that’s half true it must be worth a try. So I’ve ordered some from realseeds, and done a little research online but it would be great to hear from someone who’s had firsthand experience at growing it.

Re: Quinoa?
I thought I posted a reply but it's gone. Oh well. I tried growing some Rainbow quinoa from Real Seeds and did not have much success. Well, nil in fact. However it was probably my fault and if I get more gardening space I would like to give it another go. I think it's another of those plants that look ornamental and so can be used for sneaky gardening.

Re: Quinoa?
I've seen it grown in the UK (cornwall) and it seems to be quite well suited. I'll be planting it this year at my allotment (amongst other things) and see how things go
I really like it and we have it quite often, we add things like vecon to add flavour. Stores well too.
