MrsCC had never tried them so we had the "Just Chicken" one last night, absolutely lovely....although the wife said it was the most disgusting bit of food she had ever tried

All the more left for me :D
One of my favourites, I like the mince and veg best.
Power cut Fray Bentos pie. Take the pastry lid off and pop it on a greased tin plate and cook in a dutch oven(or similar vessel) Then cook the filling in a saucepan. Put the two back together when they're both done. :)

Thought I'd look a bit 'interesting' if I had to get home with my GHB, so I bought a 14 pocket Body Warmer at a local market this weekend. It's taken all my GHB kit with room to spare. Got my Zippo, Torch, First Aid Kit, Multi Tool, Rain Poncho, over the counter pain killers etc and all my work pens etc.

Hopefully I'll not look like a bloke with an interesting bag over his shoulder.

Just purchased another 400g of broken photovoltaic cells for the purposes of building into another 100 watt (or more. I may be able to get it up to 124 watts) 24 volt panel.

This is my great plaid I wore on our Wedding day in Gretna.

I also own 3 other kilts (the Utilikilts can hold 8 bottles of beer :D )
That's a really beautiful wedding photo, thanks for posting it :) .

Paracord has arrived so I have some tidying up of things to do and some more bracelets to make.

I also dug out my old camping gear and found my thermal mat and sleeping bag which I had thought I had given away years ago, so there's two things off the shopping list :D

Need to sort out more drinking water storage and getting some larger storage for run off etc for more general use so will be looking around for some deals.

Some more food for the stores in the weekly shop too.

Well, men need clothes / blankets / hats / scarves / you-name-it too and knitting is probably the best low entry cost clothing / cloth creation technology that there is. Thankfully I don't believe in a "fall", otherwise I would have to research making underwear too . . . How many preppers invest time into learning how to make pants, knickers and all the rest? Unless in a "post fall" world all the men wear kilts with nothing under them and the women don't wear knickers under their dresses? Linen making technology will have to wait!!
I can make knickers, shorts, bras, body stockings, stockings, and I have masses of lace, lycra, silk jersey, woolen jersey, poppers, hook & eyes. I'm on the lookout for a treadle machine that can zigzag. I can construct clothes patterns and you can make a pair of knickers out of an old t-shirt, if need be. Men's underwear can be a bit tricky, all those flat seams in the right places!! So stock up guys.

Plenty of men knit, my father could knit, and mend his clothes by hand. There was no way he was going to let my mother put any of his clothes under the treadle foot of a sewing machine!! :)

I went into Stockport buying the girls new winter coats and new winter shoes/boots I spent only a couple of quid on a 1ltr bottle of Milton for cleaning out clear plastic bottles for re-filling with water, so 3-in-1 coffee sachets, 1 kg bag of coffee whitener, some spare fuel, flints, etc for the Zippo to put away and womballed some empty 1ltr clear plastic juice bottles off the ex-Mrs whilst picking up the kids to come home before they start school again.
