Need advice on solar cell.

Hello there,
I have recently acquired a solar cell/panel 3"x6", with positive and negative connections on the rear of it.
Just wondered if anyone knew what I could use it for, and how I would go about using it, apart from putting it in the sunlight of course, (got that one covered).
I really don't care what it is used to power/charge, as long as it is used for something.
BTW I'm a complete layman beginner when it comes to electricity.

It doesn't look very big, whats its wattage or amperage and voltage in good sunlight?. Could be a trickle charger. Do you have blocking diodes for it so it doesn't get burned by the battery?

Its voltage has to be higher then the voltage of the battery its charging. EG 12 V solar, 6 V battery, 24 V solar, 12 V battery.

I would recommend using it to charge a battery that you can use to power a night time CFL bulb to read by or maybe a radio
