How are you preparing

point 1, a sense of humour is essential in a survival situation otherwise people will go into a deep depression
.

No argument there, but do you agree prepping is a serious topic ? And Scoobs at least must have a sense of humour....he keeps letting you rejoin
point 2. if you are going to be upset about what other sites say, then dont read them.
I dont get upset by what other sites say, I just pity some of the 2 faced posters. The point is that you contantly whine about UKP and its members across all the different boards, but you still keep coming back and posting under various names...two faced doesn't begin to describe it, more faces than a clock shop
point 3, people didnt turn up at the WG for the usual reasons:working, no money, too far(strange that one, cos the 1 person that did turn up-with his family- came all the way from the Newcastle area-a round trip of over 700 miles). maybe some will turn up this year, another RZ has been arranged and people from another site have agreed to participate.

The reason I didnt bother going to meet you at the WG was that meeting you and your fellow whiner was about as appealing as having a boil on my backside, and it appears that a lot of other people felt the same else a few more might have attended

If you slag off the site and its members everywhere you go but still post on the site you are slagging off, dont whine when it gets pointed out to everyone.

What's an RZ?

Not come across that one before, is it like an RV but for people who can't spell properly?

Lol, I seem to remember it as something Survival Steve/Northern raider/Durham Survivor/Rifleman/Steve Day created As an ex military person I guessed he would/should know how it should be abbreviated    , and we all know what he thinks of so many sites in the UK ;)

I guess abbreviations are useful, but it does help if they are correct, pendant, maybe, but heck a bulb is a thing you plant in the garden, a sink is in the kitchen not in the bathroom,

But if someone is given or giving incorrect information it might be a life that depends on it being correct

Start that pointless nit picking BS back up again gnole and you're outta here, and not coming back. Consider this your final warning.

Nothing wrong with being a pedant, I find it a very interesting hobby :D

In terms of survival chances, has anyone considered what their immediate area would be like? I know in my area, the level of preparedness I would expect to be extremely low. This influences my onward decisions on preparations and actions in a SHTF event.

Re: Chances.... of course everything is depending on...

The Event

The time of year.

Where you are in the UK

Your preps.

Your age and health.

I am full health,37 and prepped, yet i would still say its only about a 30% chance of living 5 years.
