Having read Peter Laurie's 'Beneath the City Streets' a year or so ago, I'm looking forward to this one. It looks at the UK's civil defence planning during the Cold War. Bunkers, emergency planning etc. etc.
I'm very interested in that area of modern history, as my username suggests!
