Prepping for dark days

Post by kylereese »

Hi All,

My name is Kyle Reese. I chose this pseudonym because haing a view of the future, I may be able to add some value to your chances of survival.

Before I go on, I truly, deeply and sincerely hope that I am wrong, mad, crazy and just a simplistic doom merchant. That would be better than being right.

My story in terms of prepping began in 2006. I don't think I had heard the word "prepping" until recently, and then I found this forum. So, back then in 2006 I awoke very early one morning with an overwhelming sense of dread and foreboding.

Being the eternal optimist and positive type, this was unusual not only because of the profoundness of this uneasiness, but because it is so out of character.

I sat in the dark and it came to me. The world is over populated and it is going to implode. How ? I did not know, but I was certain that it would, and I was certain that we could not escape a human disaster on a scale previously unknown.

From that day I changed completely. I now that we are going to be culled by some cataclysmic event. I am unsure as to what it is, or whether is will be the culmination of a number of events, but the event horizon is now in view and it is coming.

Over the last 6 yrs I have been preparing. I have studied Krav Maga to the highest level. I have become proficient at fighting with knives, swords, bows and crossbow. I am lucky enough to have a good highly profitable business that is not effected by the EU or UK economy and as such buy food weekly.

I can keep myself and 10 people for 3 years. By the end of this year it will be 5-6 years. My stores include food, sanitary products, utility products, seeds, weapons, books, and more. My stores are spread, but close and I am now learning about stealth and confusion tactics.

I intend to bug in, but have escape routes and hidey holes with rations.

I am stepping up my buying to feverish levels. When we shop I buy 1 for us and 3 for the stores. I have built false walls and special hidden rooms in several places in order to store and hide food and people. I intend to survive if at all possible. I will pull no punches and anyone who poses a threat will be killed without hesitation.

I have studied WW2, Yugoslavia etc and I am aware of the factions that are formed and how they behave. I am not a leader, but I will defend with stamina, skill and vigour.

I am very keen to meet with people who have isolated houses to use as bolt holes. I also believe that we stand a better chance as a small group, and this is why I am buying so much. My money will be worthless post SHTF, but food, razors, soap, tampons, bog roll, will be worth a lot. So, buy now it my mantra.

I am serious about finding people to form a community with in readiness.

PM me if :-

1. You have land and or buildings
2. You have farming skills
3. You can fight, and I mean fight to the death. I can teach my skills.
4. You can build, weld, are a sparky or chippy.
5. Can hunt & fish & butcher.

Remember, I have seen the future.

Well, none of the mod team has posted in here for a reason. This kind of post and prepper is just a joke - whether intended to be funny or not. I know we have a lot of good people in here, some who are new to prepping, and I really hope you don't let this juvenile carp put you off. Ignore it and Carry On Prepping!

Excuse my last post it must be taken in jest. Though if you have seen the future could you enlighten us as to what may await us?
Have you fortified your location against any particular situation, be it Nuclear/Biological/Chemical or economic collapse?
Have you studied the use of firearms?

Yesterday when I first read this post I thought "you have got to be kidding".

I would rather NOT be part of this persons' survival community - even if it was the one and only chance of actually surviving. Sounds a bit OTT in my personal opinion :tinfoil

Diamond Lil - I did not know either.

If anyone has seen the future I would like the Lotto numbers please.

If, Kyle, you have really done all that you say you have, well done, but there is more to being prepared that you realise, I think....
