That is a well stocked kit. One day mine will be that extensive. I have all the plans in my head just not the money in my pocket to do it.

That is a decent kit, for sure with some quite 'technical kit' in as well e.g. laryngoscope, ET tubes, chest drain etc.

I take it you are a 'professinal' by the look of the gear?

Which haemostatic dressings do find best in your experience from the selection you have?

When it first came out we had to negotiate with the local NHS trust about our use of it and the handover to the Docs!!!

What kit bag do you use? Is it a seperate bag (I use a Thomas ALS) or pouches in another type of bag e.g. patrol bag?

Regards my last post. Looking at Celox as a haemostatic dressing it seems lightweight and small compared to the Kwikclot and apparently does not have the 'thermal' impact (though I know Kwikclot have upgraded it since it first came out)! What are your views on it?

ill post some more stuff of all my bags when i get back home i use a black hawk stomp2 and a uk army fold out one for clinics and have a us army molle 2 woodland med pack which has some good features.

the als sponges are good for catastrophic blood loss , but at the end of the day direct pressure is by far the best a good 10 mins ,you gotta keep it on

Yeah, seems pretty comprehensive that, though a bit cumbersome for EDC, until you actually need the use of a chest drain.

I am always in 3 or 4 minds. Big kit or small? I have never got to the bottom of it. The irony is when I have one, I don't need it and when I don't........... :o

Small one in your pocket, medium on your belt, large one in the back-pack and the ED in the back of the car ;)
