Hello from Liverpool!

Post by Janash37 »

Hey guys,

As you may have guessed i'm situated in Liverpool (student, home home is daan saaf in London)! Been a prepper for... about a year and a bit now, but, inevitably on a student budget, i'm not QUITE at the stage where i've got 12 months worth of food stored up :(

I'll admit, most of what i've got so far has been focussed on self-defence and bugging out, not much by the way of food storage although I am now beginning to explore that. The prospect of sitting tight in the suburbs (Toxteth) just 10 minutes out of the centre of town if/when the SHTF doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, although i've yet to come up with a decent bugout plan for this area! If i'm at home home when that happens, then the situation is a bit different.

Go easy please!

Welcome to the forum mate.

I wouldn't fancy 'buggin in' in Toxteth either

As Nick said, it's all about finding your own way, whats feels right for you, otherwise it just becomes a chore.

Hi and welcome.
I used to live near Liverpool ......you certainly need to plan for getting out of there as soon as you get an inkling of a problem. Try and focus on a minimum of 72hours kit, get out of dodge routes/transport etc. then maybe think about a stash of food and equipment of the route home.

But take it easy, we are all on tight budgets so we know what that's like but you've made a start.

Thanks for all the welcomes!
I've got myself a 72 hour kit good and ready to go, just the final few bits on their way in the post as we speak and then it'll be completed. After that then it'll be on to planning my escape route out of this city!
