I think that's a bit unfair. 'Caliber' was my poor choice of words and it was only because of the detailed stuff on permaculture and more optimisitic focus that I used it - no doubt because I felt Ludlow had extensive stuff on things that interested me; it was my own conceit which translated that into 'caliber' in my head and then mental-farted it onto the page without seeing how it could cause offence.
I'm also on the p2s forum and have noticed all three have very different characters and different things to offer, none any more or less worthwhile than the other, but their interest is partially related to the person looking and what they want, as much as to the content on there.
I'm surprised to hear that a group of people who're sensible and wise enough to be prepping and sharing/networking would allow such base rivalries and paranoia to infect their relationships. Life is too short to worry about such things as rivalries between forums imo.
I can assure you that comments made to me were very positive about all forums and simply suggested registering to all to get a wider spread to achieve my goal and a particular reference for Ludlow being good for permaculture enthusiasts and positivists. Nothing negative has been said about anything (apart from the inference of using a word like 'caliber', which was my fault and I apologise for it).
I do hope to keep using all three forums and casting my net across the online community. I apologise sincerely to T for making him look bad when all he did was make positive suggestions for a wider cast of the net and from my perspective it would be very unfair to take issue with anything he has said to me because I've not seen a negative word from him about anything.
