Newbie. Both to prepping and forums! In fact, this is my second post on any forum , anywhere. ( So my apologies if you have recently read similar on "another" prepper site.)
I've been a "concerned" citizen for a few years. I like the phrase "prepare for the worst, hope for the best". Kind of sums up my thoughts. I reckon the probablilities of "disaster" to be pretty low, but feel that being prepared certainly can't do any harm.
I look forward to learning more. Also specifically interested if any members pool resources.
Best regards
Tom

Hi my northern friend.
. Nice to see you here.
I haven't yet exactly pooled resources but have organised buying wheat - just buying extra buckets and wheat during my annual wheat buy. What kind of pooling do you mean?

A good question. I don't know if there are elements in a prepper's "repository", which could be "shared". Off the top of my head.... things like medicines, dental kits, spare parts for a generator, etc etc....... If there is/was a certain degree of commonality / standardisation, then such would be facilitated. Of course, it would be easier to share with neighbors in a local community than opposite sides of the country! One might also expect cost savings if interested parties in a local community got together. Skill sets would also be an interesting thing to share... medics, carpenters, electricians, arms dealers..... (I just stuck in the last one to suggest I have a sense of humour, .... although......??).Rosesandtea wrote:Hi my northern friend.. Nice to see you here.

Btw... I did try to contact you directly... but I don't have such board rights yet.
