I live in Oxfordshire and I started prepping for y2k and have been prepping ever since!
I'm disabled and have to use crutches (hence "stickman") but that doesn't stop me or my family from prepping I just have to think more about things.
I have a keen interest in the enviroment and just recently I'm more concerned with the effects of "Peak Oil" and the new "Fracking" which has been propossed throughout the UK (suggest you google it and read up on it or I'll be going on and on and on...)
Before being disabled I was a Coach Builder so although I can't do the physical work, I have knowledge!

nah, I know of 6 (you are the latest) of us now who are on various forums, plus 2 spouses including mine. However one is in north oxon, which to me is not very close, I identify much more with Wiltshire and West Berkshire (indeed where I live used to be "West Berkshire" ) than I do with far north Oxon.
However there seem to be fewer here than in some other counties....
I'm in north oxon, close to n'mptnshre & Bucks boaders and so far I'm the only one prepping that I know of around here but there again, it's not something we want to advertise, is it!
