New prepper from Liverpool

Hi everyone, I'm new to the hole prepping and edc community.

I saw a TV show a few months ago about solar storms and how the power grid could go down and it got me a bit worried so I went online to find out more about it and found I wasn't the only one and how they all had these grate set ups and plans if the worst comes to the worst they would be sorted. So as you can imagine I was a bit overwhelmed with it all and that's how I came to find this site when looking for advice on how to get started.

I have been on youtube and started building up an edc carabiner with a couple of small things on it, but I've seen about food and water prep, bug out bags and survival plans which I have no clue about so all advice is welcome.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

It's funny how the sudden realisation that something might happen and we need to be ready, sets us on our prepping journey.

There are many reasons we prep; unemployment, bad weather, ill health, fuel tanker strike etc.

There is lots of info on the forum about food and water storage. If you need any help just ask and someone will be along to help you out.
