Good find!
October 2012 - but I reckon they will be good for around a year after that, give or take a month here or there. And even if I have to throw them out before they get used it's only a few quid. :D

After seeing one of these on a Youtube EDC video, I ordered one for my own EDC. AA phone charger!

My local Focus have been having a 50% off everything sale. Made the mistake of popping across yesterday with Mrs Ogre & My Daughter to see what they had for prepps. Came away with a five seater corner unit and a two seater settee

Went back today on my own and got enough parrafine to keep the whole family going for a year. A 3m x 4m pond liner for the summers main project. Loads of 50L storage boxes. Plus assorted bits n' pieces.

You could always lift the seat on the settee and corner unit and store things in there .....

Yesterday I ordered quite a few packs of disposable hand warmers for my EDC. For when I'm stuck on the train for hours with no heat, or stuck at a station, or stuck anywhere...

I'm tempted by the Zippo hand warmer, but a lot of fiddling around if the weather's bad or I'm stuck on a crowded train with sheeple - so a little impractical in my situation.

I've got my kids for their xmas stockings some reusable hand warmers. (novelty ones from Hawkins Bazzar) I think you just put them in boiling water after you've used them ready for the next time. I'll let you know how long they last when they've used them xmas day!! :)

Cool. I thought of getting those reusable one, but opted for cheapo disposables to see how I get on with them. I might get some better ones in future!

I've used these since I was a kid winter fishing for Pike:

Bought a second for SWMBO for our winter canoe camping trips. Needless to say I didn't see mine again as she snaffled it so she could keep one in each pocket!

I've got a zippo hand warmer in my pocket at the moment. Got it last week and I'm really pleased with it.

Nice to nice warm hands after freezing them putting snow chains on and digging out cars!

I've got to say I like Zippo stuff. When they say life time guarantee they really mean it. Years ago I wrecked my zippo lighter capsizing a sailing dinghy in the sea and forgetting the Zippo was in my kit and had become salty. By the time I'd realised, the insert had rusted solid and I couldn't remove it to refuel the lighter. The lighter sat in the MAN draw for years until spotted by a mate who said I should send it off to Zippo. I thought him mad, but did so and was very pleasantly surprised to receive my lighter back a month or so later with a brand new insert and they'd even fixed the wobbly hinge - all completely free of charge except for the postage.

Brilliant service!
