I have a coleman stove for my parents use, picked it up at a car boot quite cheaply. The one thing that worries me is the thought that using unleaded will degrade the parts of the stove. Has anyone tried this stuff yet ?
It seems to be a double distilled petrol. I've read good things on other forums but anyone here got 1st hand experience ?

Aspen 4 anyone ?
Re: Aspen 4 anyone ?
Hi Ogre,
I use my Coleman duel fuel stove all the time, great piece of kit. About every 10 tank refills I use a tank of Coleman Multi Fuel which is about £4 from Amazon. This does a great job of keeping the stove in good working order.
I also take the same approach for the two Coleman dual fuel lanterns I use. A 20 litre jerry can of unleaded goes a long way with this kit.

Re: Aspen 4 anyone ?
I use Aspen 4T in my Coleman Feather 442 Stove. It's basically just a purified petrol, so doesn't have any of the impurities found in unleaded fuel which over time will clog up the stove. I haven't used anything other than Aspen 4T in the 442 and never had any problems with it.
I also found Aspen 4T to be significantly cheaper than the official Coleman fuel. The only problem was finding somewhere to buy it, I eventually got some from Lister Wilder in Reading, however the link below gives UK stockists:
