Not potato-related, but my garden is definitely not doing well this year. I have thought many times how glad I am that we are not depending on this year's garden in order to keep us alive. It's brought home to me how I don't want to have the complacency about "next year's harvest will make everything alright.". It may not do.

Sorry about your potatoes! I hope mine are not affected but they might be.

Dug up everything. Salvaged about 50lbs of pots (had planned on 200 - 300lbs). Having cooking days all week with them, then freezing everything up. Today I made at least a dozen servings of chick pea and potato curry. Tomorrow'll be Shepherds veggie pie. Will also get some dehydrating going too and mylar them up. Oh and do some chutneys too.

More curries made and dehydrated 10lbs (reduced to next to nothing). None left for chutneys. Result of Aldi trips = LOTS of tinned potatoes. Will do a Smash run next week then starchy tuber karma will be restored.
