They claim to be the best in the world.

Not come across the. I swear by Eneloops.

A second vote for Eneloops but make sure you get the 'new type'. Much better.

Yep, third that. They keep a charge which is the most important thing. No point having a draw full of batteries which have not been used but only have a small percentage of a charge.
