just wondered if its worth storring powdered milk with silica packet for a 7 day bug out bag. what are your views. thank you

i can`t see why not , i have a dozen tins of marvel in the stores along with coffee whitener .

yep i have loads of it stored too also have several liters of long life liquid stuff tastes like fresh ! but only has 6 to 7 months shelf life so need rotating a lot

Have any of you been able to get powdered WHOLE milk? I can only find semi-skimmed or skimmed which won't be good for making cheese.

Wouldn't the shelf life for the full cream powdered milk be shorter than for the skimmed/low fat one? I know full cream milk goes bad quicker than skimmed because of the fat content, seems logical that there's something similar for powdered milk?
