"Water bob" anybody know of a uk supplier?

Post by The Pasta Banker »

OK yeah I'm new to this. i had always planned to use the bath for non consumpsion wqter storage in the event of an emergency, but this new doomsday preppers show teaches me something new every show so far.
a "Water bob" is a one use water bladder for your bathtub - you fill it up just before there is a risk of loosing your water supply, and the plastic bladder keeps it free from contamination. sweet! only problem is I cant find a UK or europe supplier...

Just buy a large plastic sheet, builders merchants are a good place to start. Line the bath with it, fill bath and fold the sheet over the top. Done.

bit expensive, if you fancy a cheaper version try googling dolav liners, used to use them when i worked in a butchery so there definatly made from food safe plastic, think they come in different thicknesses but even if you got a roll of the cheaper thinner ones you could double them up. usually come on rolls of 50/100 so you get plenty of them and due to the size of them when opened up they have a lot of different uses

Hi all, The cheapest i could find my waterbob was on Ebay from a US supplier (£18 for the unit, £12 for the postage) some of the others (including amazon) were charging around £30 for shipping alone....Ebay was the way forward.

The listing heading was - Water Bob**NEW**- Emergency Drinking Water Storage System U.S.-FDA approved
