Has anyone built a smoke house i'm looking into putting one in my field going to make it look like a little shed

Nope but if you can get hold of dick & james strawbridge practical self sufficiency they show you how to build one as well as a root cellar and a solar food dryer :oops: Sorry just love this book

Looking at using an old fridge or something similar, for smoking the bacon from our pigs

I too love Dicky Strawbridges book.
Theres a new one out...
