Anything hot with a level of vit c would be useful.

I once made a hot blackberry drink on a whim whilst camping. Didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to, but is was hot and had the natural goodness in it. I posted some pics of it on another forum (which has now closed) if anyone wants to see it in this or a separate thread?

I use these:

http://drink-bolero.com/

Each sachet makes a minimum of 1.5 litres and can be drunk hot or cold.

I buy the mixed packs of 24 flavours, love 23 of them - the almond one is :o
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

How can we forget Bovril, a great drink especially when it's cold.

Mint tea. Good for digestion. Just mint leaves plus hot water.

 They haven't got any bloomin Bovril
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

A few drips of lemon juice in hot water with sugar or sweetener, maybe with some cinnamon and nutmeg or other mulled wine spices

Also you can make a tea with dehydrated orange peel.

Horlicks or ovalatine(sp) are very comforting.
Also black currant and lemon squash type drinks made with hot instead of cold water ,add a bit of sugar and it's like a poor mans lemsip. :)
