Hi all,
Im bulk buying some BOB and general survival gear, everything from rations to mozi nets (using a blend of BOB bag lists found on this very site)
So I have got my shopping basket full of 25 items on ebay, then realized of the couple of hundred £ in there, £25 is P&P.
SO, is there a GOOD general survival gear store (im aware there is a few) that sells almost everything and you lot fully recommend?
Im thinking of course one big order from one place will possibly be cheaper.
Any help im very grateful.

http://www.heinnie.com/ and Amazon kind of cover everything but I believe in buying quality.
Re: What shop for a big kit bulk buy?
You have mentioned some great websites here, but I tend to get a touch of "shiny syndrome" and want to buy up loads of stuff and have to stop myself and then think about how much (little!) money i have available and then what I really need that for and what I am in reality trying to prepare for and then to be practical about that which hate doing.
Shiny Syndrome can be a biiiig problem for me

Excellent suggestions, thank you everyone, any more? I have the time in the day in the office to order the same stuff off my list at various stores and see which one is cheapest.
Metatron where are the quality stores?
And thanks for the heads up nickdutch
I normally wouldn't bulk buy but I have recently come into some money and only have the very basics of gear, so decided to treat myself to a decent and complete BOB, EDC and general gear to use if I bug in.
The line of thinking that if the financial world collapsed, pointless have 'some' money in my account that is worthless, so I may as well have some decent gear
, even ok stuff is better than no stuff! lol

Heinnie sells a lot of quality products, from bags, knifes to first aid kits. You might also want to check out http://www.edcgear.co.uk/ as they sell a lot of cool products.combat squirrel wrote:Excellent suggestions, thank you everyone, any more? Re: What shop for a big kit bulk buy?
My thoughts exactly. Buy the best you can afford, but shop around and look for discounts. It never hurts to ask, especially if you're paying cash. You generally get a better response in person (in my personal experience) so if you find that you can get the majority of your kit from one retailer, see where the nearest outlet is and go and have a chat with the manager. And don't stress about having to have the most expensive kit. So what if you can't afford a pair of £300 walking boots with a built in multi tool and solar panels in the heels.combat squirrel wrote:even ok stuff is better than no stuff! lol
