This is mine, dead cheap and lightweight, ideal for summer camping.
I sleep fully-clothed in it in my tent and it can get too warm in there, so the full-length zip down one side is great for letting cool air in.
If you get too cool, just zip it up a bit..
PS- It's about 5 feet long and only comes up to my chin but that's no problem because I always wear this balaclava to keep my head warm and keep bugs out of my ears-
I have one of these, absolutely superb piece of kit. -15 comfort temp -25 extreme temp (iirc) - Literally never been cold in it, last winter in -10 I got inside a survival bag and lay in the snow in the garden in it and actually fell asleep I was that warm. Even if for some strange reason it went lower than -25 with a good set of thermals underneath and the fact I am a naturally warm person I'm sure that figure could go below -30 comfortably

I have a Snugpak Antarctica RE for winter camping in my hammock its rated to -50°c and I have a Snugpak Softie III for all other seasons as it packs down super small but its only good to 0°c. I like to buy well known sleeping bag brands, like I like to buy well know knifes as there is a good chance my life will depend on it working.
Are you suggesting my bag isn't adequate for all UK weather :S
Like I explained I've been warm in -10 lying in just a thin survival bag in the snow so that's good enough for me. I have no doubt that had it dropped another 10 degrees I would of still been warm.

Nope, I think the issue you tend to have with a lot of lesser know brands is things like zippers, sewing and flammability.

Couldn't agree more, I compared it to a similar Regatta branded bag and found that the zips and stitching where almost identical. Something from Tesco however is going to suffer from said downsides.
