Hi all.
I'd never thought of myself as a prepper but I suppose I really am. I found this site when I was googling "Tattler Lids Uk" of all things.
I grow fruit and veg, make jams, chutney, preserves etc
I also grow/collect medicinal herbs and make creams, tinctures, oils, teas etc.
My latest venture is into the world of pressure canning to preserve meat dishes. I haven't started yet but plan on buying the equipment over the next few weeks/months. It's so much more expensive to buy here than in the US so if anyone out there can find cheaper prices than I have, I'd love to hear from them.

Hello and welcome.
You have some useful skills and knowledge. When you have settled in perhaps you might consider doing a tutorial for us on herbal medicine etc. I, for one, would be very interested!

Hello, yes I would be interested in a tutorial as well. At the moment, I love my dehydrator, in fact anything that comes within a picking radius gets thrown in it! Am interested in canning but to be honest not sure where to start, perhaps that should be my next project!

Hello and welcome from sunny (har har) Lanarkshire - stay in the loop on canning, I'm terrified to try it but equally keen!
