Just joined as I've recently started to think about prepping etc. I have long since thought that our country (England to be more specific) has started to fall apart at the seems. For me personally, my interest and reason for thinking about prepping is down to a fear of Economic Collapse at some time in the not too distant future. I have never voted and I'm 39 years old, purely because I don't trust anyone in government to be honest! When is the last time you (or i) actually heard about a government policy or decision and sat back and thought "geee thanks, that's just what we need, that's great news".........for me the answer is never!
I personally don't see a threat from war or from solar flares or earthquakes or anything of that nature! In my opinion the most dangerous thing we have here in the UK..............are the people making all the wrong decisions!
I have 4 great kids and if the SHTF I'd like to know that we could at least be self sufficient for a period of time and be safe etc.
So, that's me in a nutshell I guess, sorry for the political rant but thought I'd give you a bit of background anyway. So going to have a good look at this forum and see what i can find out
