HI, I am from Leicester too.
Been thinking about prepping for the last 3 years and done a lot of reading but i would always get daunted on where to start so in the past i have pushed the idea aside. However its never too long before something happens that makes me think about prepping again.
Well over the last 6 months i have finally plucked up the courage to discuss it with my fella, i had thought he would think i should be fitted for a straight jacket, but thankfully he did not!
Last Sunday we finally started putting a plan together and discussed our ideas with our son who is a teenager, (we also have a 2 year old daughter).
We have just returned from our first food-store shop... we haven't got a great deal yet, maybe just enough for 2 weeks ...but its a start.
