EZI-Melt

Post by arnieh »

Just arrived home from Tesco they are now selling EZI-Melt cost £2. This is a 1kg plastic container with rock salt in it the container has a lid that opens to reveal a shaker to allow you to sprinkle the contents evenly on the ground. I bought one for each vehicles winter kit.

Just had a look on the Tesco website and it says it is sold out :?

Looked on Amazon, 1kg is £7.99

Looked on Staples, 1kg up to £2.40

Prices are all over the place

****

Wouldn't a bag of salt do?

Couldn't find this in any of my local Tesco, so ended up getting mine from B&Q for 2.99

My local lidl had some in.

Also try your local Countrywide stores. They sell it by the 5kg (I think) bag load. You could just recant some into a tupperware (or similar) container and store in your car.

I get economy salt granules off this firm for my water treatment, it works out at £3.62 for 25kg bag when i buy a pallet full, they do smaller quantities as well.It melts the snow just the same. http://www.ngssaltsupplies.co.uk/newsit ... hp?catid=6
