Thrilled!!
Clearing out the depths of a deep dark cupboard and I find 2 Uniden walkie talkies, with double charging dock - all in working order!
I am very easily pleased!!
I think I should look into being able to rig them to an alternative power source. Any suggestions?

Re: Walkie Talkies
They most likely run of 4 AAA's and have a 9v input on the side under a bit of rubber. You could go with a 9v windup charger, like the ones they make for phones if you can find one with a suitable connector, or get a standalone solar charger like http://www.amazon.co.uk/Uniross-U014891 ... 116&sr=8-1 and get a few sets of rechargeable batteries.
