Security is one of the main pillars of prepping along with shelter food and water. In some countries and in some societies it has more importance than others. In the US there are estimated to be over 200 million privately owned firearms add in those of the military and you have about 350 million or one for every man woman and child in the country. In SHTF situation in the US is almost a certainty that any assailants would be armed with firearms. Hence the importance placed on this aspect in this US survey.
In the UK this is definitely not the case. Assailants would most likely not be armed with firearms. So forming an alliance with a few neighbors (the bigger the better) to protect your respective homes would be more than equivalent to being very well armed in the US.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

who has a home to accomodate that?
i live near a lake and a fast flowing stream so i will be using that i guess
I took in to account that we have a fishing lake literally 10 mins up the road... but just thinking about how to solve the issue for a lot of ppl who have a garden at least.. get a pop up swimming pool, they come in all sizes and would collect rain water/provide a bathing area/and can be moved as required..

 A little difficult to be honest most things i had trouble getting the markers low enough. My best part was security even if i don't have much to protect(other than the wife and kids which is enough itself i guess  ) this is probaly because i run a security company so in all fairness it should be my best part. If any of you guys need any help with security measures i would be glad to help just ask, i can help with equipment protective and surveillance, security techniques self defence and awarness etc,. Think i need to work on the weak areas now :D

Well done Deamcatcher. If you take into account the cultural difference you score is actually considerably higher.

Thank's ICRCC. The water storage let me down a bit, but I picked up on the Firearms section, which I guess a lot of folks in the UK would not be able to do.
