Hi all
When I went prep shopping yesterday I popped a can of ghee in the trolly and gave it a whirl this morning.
A little bit granular when eaten straight out the tin (not how i usually eat butter, but just testing it)
Spreads easier than butter.
Tastes reasonably good. Like a "thin" butter.
Will test what it is like for frying later
£2 for 500g - so same price as butter but with a 2 year shelf life.
Cheers
Matt

Ghee
Hi
I was hoping it would be like other canned foods......kinda indefinite.
That isn't based on any specific knowledge of canned ghee or butter tho. Be nice to be more accurate.
It says on it - once open, consume within 1 month - so it isn't too "fragile" I wouldn't have thought.
Cheers

Also, ghee is absolutely vital if you make your own Indian curry at home.
Or in the woods...
nom nom nom
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
