Uk version of doomsday prepper

Next Wednesday at 9pm on National Geographic channel is a uk version of doomsday preppers. Might be of intrest to someone I'll probably watch it. Its called Preppers UK: Surviving Armageddon.

Granted they are some crazy preppers out there but people who just stock up on food supplies and prepared for certain situations. Surely were more sane than the crazy people who have no plans for survival.


You also have to take into account anyone who wants to be on tv is crazy, so all in all this show is not going to be pretty

I am not betting against that one as I am sure that Nat Geo only selects those who make interesting viewing rather then just some boring 38 year old like me with 8 Kg of rice, 8 Kg of lentils, a cheap catapult and an interest in home made wood gas stoves and solar panels.

Thanks, I didn't know about this I will be sure to record it. I have watched Doomsday Preppers but it will be really interesting to see an episode focusing on the UK.

At least it will be a bit more realistic. The US preppers programme is obsessed with guns.

Wow.... We watched the show and talk about a huge difference between the US and UK shows.

I am a Yank and was impressed by the quality of reasoning stated by many of the people on the show.
