Re: One week without addiction
I have already given up drinking and smoking. Although i am still on nicotine, i will eventually cut that down. Giving up tea (despite the fact that the dentist hates me for making my teeth tanned) probably wont ever happen.
I am going to have to learn how to farm it !!!

Re: One week without addiction
For years I used to drink Three or four coffees and two or three cans of Coke a day. I decided to give it up to cut back on unwanted sugar. As soon as I did I started to get headaches they lasted for a little over a week. However they subsided, now I rarely have a can of Coke, or any other pop but I do usually have two coffees a day.
Re: One week without addiction
I used to be quite a heavy coffee drinker, well I was into double figure numbers of cups each day, from the age of about 17. About 5 years ago, I started to have 'problems' with my 'rear end'. I spent some time cutting out various things like wheat to try and establish what was causing me to spend so much time on the loo . Turned out it was caffeine, well cutting back on the caffeine resolved the problem, so I've concluded that was the cause. I'm down to a self imposed maximum of 2 cups a day. I have been known to go 48 hours without any caffeine but I have to be honest, I do get mild cravings for coffee after 24 hours without.
