I am preppering for the fall of society. What are you preppering for? i have only the basic to my bug in kit but every week i add on to that kit. My long term goal is to be more self sufficient.

do you have a plan in action what you are going to do on the road after you bug out? At the moment my location is perfect for a bug in situation. I live in the countryside, moved into a newly built home and in January i will be organsing my veg and fruit patch. I have a lake in walking distance of me for water supply but i plan to next year to develep a water purify system from the lake plus we have a well aswell but i need to get a hand pump just in case the electricity goes.

But that is all well to bug in but i have plan to bug out if a situation develops that i have no chance but to go on the road.

I have a woodand/forest area near to where I live with loads of deer rabbit squirrel birds farms surround it too so they have large fields of veggies + other meat, it's only a few hours hike with a few lakes on the way letting me filter water e.t.c i have a location up there that has a running lake next to where i want to camp so i have a pretty good area.

Welcome Red Dawn am new to the site aswell, sounds like you have the ideal location for a good hold up spot. I have been prepping for a while but i live in a build up area which brings lots of problems when it comes to prepping.

I will be staying away from anything from city and urban areas as i don't trust people after law and order is gone. i am hoping i will have enough backup that i don't need to go outside and lay low for a few weeks or months until it is safe.
