Hi badgersden
Can I ask how long you have been prepping for? I have only just started space is quite difficult in the home at the moment but on the plus side I did build a summer house this year which is 23ft x 14ft so I'm going to be putting food and water supplie in there.

Preppers in Birmingham??
I'm close to Birmingham. Weapons for self defence are frowned upon by the police and are useless without the will to use them in a confrontation. Find a local MMA club and train at least three times a week, including sparring. That will get you used to incoming traffic and boost both your fitness and confidence to deal with violent situations. Trust me if you start waving anything around and can't follow through then you will be in a world of hurt.

Please can we keep all discussions within the boundaries of the legal system ( if you are not sure then check out other threads). We wouldn't want our host (scoobie) getting into trouble for something movement has said that is illegal, now, would we?!!!Pepper7 wrote:Hi and welcome, am also form the West Midlands, for self-defense and being a woman i would suggest learning to use a knife! and Crossbow.... this would be for the extreme situations ( police are no longer responding to calls ) for not so extreme situations ( police still responding but taking longer then normal) get some batons and again learn to use them etc, hope that helps abit!
