New prepper
Hi from deepest Dorset. Hope I can learn a lot from you guys and gals.
Re: New prepper
Justsurviving,
Please tell us a bit more!
My job's an artist but I seem to spend more time on the allotment or foraging/chopping wood for the wood burner just now!
I'm prepping for 'everyday' calamities such as ill health and unemployment. Me and my wife are on the up side of a couple of really bad health years. YAY! I've started earning money again (I taught myself web design and got myself hitched to a good gallery) and my wife has started volunteering in school.
My kids are 11 and 13, both going on 18. I've been gently getting them into prepping for several years now - they can grow food and cook it and use a firesteel to start the fire!
They're even down to one teddy in their BOBs!

Re: New prepper
Perhaps us Dorset folk can meet up in the new yr. safe venue etc no need for home adresses. might lead to bulk purchases and swapping of ideas.

As you are new to the site maybe you could become involved with the forum and the discussions, build up a good reputation and then members will be more willing to meet with other members.justsurviving wrote:Perhaps us Dorset folk can meet up in the new yr. safe venue etc no need for home adresses. might lead to bulk purchases and swapping of ideas.
