dental floss is a really strong binding "string"....very versatile.

Dental floss / tape makes a really good (and cheap) nocking point on a recurve archery bow.

For sutures (stitches) in a first aid kit, clean strong and anti bacterial me and my father both carry them. In our kits.

I used it to attatch the rubber straps to a catapult..........it worked really well and I was supprised to find out just how tough the stuff is.

Could be used for snares for small game in a survival situation. Trip wire. Also, lashing an arrowhead or fletchings to the shaft.
