Hi all,
Been away working for a while so not much prepping done in the 7ps house recently.

So; today I went through the prepping boxes (I have 12 hard plastic boxes) and re-organized everything. I now have three food boxes, the first is short term (12 months), the next is mid term (3 years) and the long term is anything beyond. I have replenished all the water, gone through all the meds in the med box, emergency first aid in the emergency box and added a few more bits like batteries and lighters.

My geeky one was; preparing a list of the most important things to do if TSHTF and laminating it so that if I'm out the house the OH can start us off! He he, I'm such a geek!

Merry Christmas all

Thanks for the redundancy condolences, people.

I had another brief burst of energy today, so I've finally got round to sorting my understairs cupboard (ie stairs go to neighbours flat upstairs - my place is very small). I'm ashamed to say I've discovered items in my grocery cupboard going back to 2010, so that's all piled up for disposal.

Got more long life food than I thought I had, but on the other hand there is quite a bit I have to finish by March, the less favourite stuff, so going to have to be a grown up and cook it and remember not to buy it again if I am not so keen on it.

Can't post an image a FAQ's say it's got to be on a publice server somewhere.

I have a question though. There is a gas canister and stove burner I forgot I had. Are these small blue cannisters refillable (about15cm high)?

Re gas canister....light blue about.250mm in diam by 150mm should be a GAZ. Threaded fittin takes a regulator? If so they are refillable.

Preps this week are all Christmas related...a good excuse to buy a bit extra and no-one will notice.

 bit like me. My OH phoned from work this morning and asked was there anything we needed as he could pop to the supermarket on his way home later. I nearly choked on my cuppa. Has he seen the spare room/store cupboard recently....

The only prepping I have done so far has been searching the interwebs for products and info for my plans. I was an archer for 12 years shooting for Devon and Cornwall so I have some nice compounds in the loft. I need to sort out some plastic storage boxes soon as I went to lidl today checking out best before dates on some items and nearly bought my first tin of food for storage :D but I put it back as it won't be any good without proper storage. So I will be looking for storage boxes after Xmas so I can start my prepping ;)
