Hello from a Hairy Northener :O

Post by Bilbo »

Hi all fellow preppers,

I think a basic rekindling for the love of the outdoors is where i'm at, wild camping, gadgets, survival and weapons etc
And a basic need to prep ;)

Seen a lot of very good forums but yours is the most diverse :P and seems good natured.

I'm going to be delving into "the knowledge" on everything first before trying anything out. I'm interested in:

Urban prepping
Bugging out, need a new BOV as I have a two seater MR2 which doesn't even have a boot lol
Wild camping
Survival skills
Self builds (been looking at buying a forest!! £32k for 8 acre woodland, and also COB building which is really interesting)
Weaponry and the making of (Just bought a 175 pound Jaguar Crossbow for £100 with kit & a 80 pound pistol crossbow from from Blades & Bows which are the cheapest i've found and i've spent ages looking ^^, I also want a 40 pound recurve take down bow and set of mini ziel throwing knives anyway I can tell you more about these later :) )

anyway I look forward to speaking to you all at some point, may I wish you all a very merry preppy Christmas and all the best for 2013 :D

I have seen a lot of really good healthy conversations from a lot of knowledgeable people, we can all learn from each other.
Actually no idea what you could learn from me so....ahem...anyway....i'm really new and have no skill base other than golf lol

BTW did you see about the hidden eco village in Wales, and Lammas project from the back of that.

Its a shame they had such a legal battle to stop the council bulldozing it all....

peace & good will to all preppers
