Hi Folk's
I registered and said hi on the old forum before but Hello again.
I am from Scotland and have been thinking hard about our situation here in the UK for some time. The old adage that those who "fail to prepare"......."prepare to fail" ......is one that has stuck with me.
I decided to start to prepare about 13 years ago. I pretty much started from scratch and have never stopped learning and watching what others are doing in their own areas around the world.
I am married with family and I guess a lot of what I do is centred around them.
Its really good to meet like minded free thinkers like myself and this forum is a great way to share ideas and keep in contact.
While some of the people here may be new to preparedness and are just developing a survival mentality we are all still learning and I don't believe that any of us can be completely prepared for every eventuality.
The way I see it though is that instead of that sick feeling in the pit of our stomach's when the unthinkable happens, we will at least know we have a buffer for us and our families should the situation turn bad. Having even a few weeks of provisions is way ahead of what most other people will have when circumstances get difficult.
So thanks for giving me access to the forum once again and good luck with the preparations no matter what stage you are at.
