I am a bit of a 'lurker' on this site, reading everything but saying nothing lol. Quite the opposite from my behaviour in day to day life.
I am pretty new to the prepping scene, but my 12 year old son is very in to it and has more tins and equipment in his room than I have in the whole house.
I stay in Central Scotland, used to stay way up North and miss it every day.
My dream would be for my kids, band of pets and myself to get back up there, somewhere in the middle of nowhere and be as self sufficient as possible.
Saying that I am enjoying having street lights, public transport and local shops that don't involve driving for an hour or so.
