Intro of new member from Kent

Hi all

Have been prepping for around 20 years in a way without having realising it. By this I mean that I have been training in various martial arts and combat systems in order to prepare to deal with violence.

About a year ago a work colleague then revealed the whole prepping scene to me and I simply expanded my activity from preparing for violent confrontation to full on prepping.

Experience wise, I served 8years in the Royal Engineers and now work within the security industry. I am a private individual who likes to keep a low profile which a by product of the type of work I do.

My wife is not so interested in the whole prepping thing but is happy for me to crack on as she knows I am doing it for us.

Look forward to getting to know you all and reading through the assorted information on this site.

Just out of interest what martial arts do you do?
I used to do karate many years ago, and was looking at doing some sort of martial arts again.
