Newbie from lancs
Ok so I seen enough, heard enough and something's not right with the world, is it? So I signed up and I'm gonna start prepping. Hi everyone or should I say fellow preppers, my name is andy, 45, nw England. Ok we're not nuts like a lot think, we have some very clever members with us, eccentric ? Maybe a little, prepared? We're gonna be. My prediction for the apocalypse is, the weather, very extreme, rain, cold, snow then ice, it will hit us hard and fast, we've had the warnings, so for those who can see these warnings, let's get prepping.

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum
the weather could very well play a part in future problems - almost certain, really, isn't it, given the way that records keep getting broken or at least equalled.

Hi andy im new too. Weather here as I write this is crazy. High winds and floods. You could be right. Might need a boat soon
Re: Newbie from lancs
Welcome Andy! I'm prepping for the little things in life - times of poor health, no money, etc but I'm also giving some attention to the big stuff such as the knock-on effects of peak oil and such.

Hi Arzosah and the Ace, I'm pretty positive it will be the weather, mainly flooding, sea levels are rising, thermals are shifting, storms are getting worse all over the world and look at how much rain we've had in the uk in 2012.
We only have to lose electric, gas and tap water and the chaos begins! I once woke up sometime ago about 2am to find the electric was off and the water was trickling from the tap, your heart starts beating like a drum, your mind plays tricks on you, whats happening, wheres my torch, candles anything I can't see a thing? CLICK the power comes back on what a relief.. lol but what if it didnt? you have got to prep even if you never have to use your bug out bag and supplies its insurance isn't it.

I wouldn't think anything of it as up here it happens a lot - but yes agree the weather is getting a lot more extreme. I live at 1000ft/300m and the wind and storms here are getting a lot worse. This year the rain was hellish all over the UK and what you're saying is right - we need to prep for WEATHER.
