I've been looking at slash proof gloves lately, and they look like great every day gloves, but with that added reassurance.

The ones shown above seem cheap and cheerful, also the (3) reviews seem to rate them. But I'd want to test the claim. but for them to be able to claim 'Slash Proof' they have to conform to British Standards.
Anyway, there's a few pairs I've been looking at which i'll post below.
My question is, has anyone got a pair of these and can recommend them?

Re: Slash Proof Gloves
We work with glass where I work and use various types of kevlar gloves. Never had anyone get cut while actually wearing gloves (you got to remember to put them on though !) Whether these gloves would protect against say a knife attack, well i'm not sure, but they are fine for picking up thousands of broken bottles at least

The very best cut protection is afforded by ppss, with cut tex pro, a proprietary material which exceeds Kevlar, spectra etc...
Google cut tex pro and or ppss body armour!

Re: Slash Proof Gloves
The only glove I would trust is my chain mail at work. Started using it 12 years ago after I slipped with a steak knife when I was breaking down a pig. Cut all the tendons in my right hand and was in hospital and off work for two months.
