I am fairly new to prepping although I have had in interest in BushCraft and Survival skills for a few years now. The reason I want to get into Prepping as a lifestyle is with my first child on the way this year I want to make sure I have the necessary Knowledge to protect and provide for my family In case of an Event that would effect everyday living is some way or another.. e.g Natural Disaster (Flooding,Earthquake etc.) or Man-made events (Rioting,Strikes,Power cuts.) All events that we have seen over the last few years and I think have spurred my interest in getting into prepping.
My nearest natural area is Cannock Chase and the rural areas surrounding me and nearest large populated town is Walsall. From reading a few other posts there seems to be a fair few other members in the surrounding areas so that's good to know
I look forward to hopefully making a few new friends in the prepping world and sharing and learning new ideas and skills with you all
